Job summary

MAS Monetary Authority of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Full Stack AI Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native applications.

You will work across the software delivery lifecycle with stakeholders to translate business needs into specifications, build AI-powered features, and implement CI/CD, DevSecOps and automated quality controls using Java, Python, React and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience delivering backend and frontend with CI/CD and production support.
• Experience building AI-powered applications and integrating enterprise AI services.
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and API design patterns.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary Agile teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java with Quarkus/Spring Boot, Python, React, and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable backend services and reusable frontend components with well-defined APIs.
• Apply secure coding practices, clean architecture and domain modelling.
• Create and maintain cloud-native deployments with containerisation and automated deployments.
• Collaborate with product owners and analysts to translate requirements into specifications and tests.
• Implement AI-assisted development capabilities and integrate approved AI platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
