Job summary

SEA Singapore seeks a hands-on fullstack engineer (frontend focused) to own features from discovery through deployment, and to integrate frontend with backend services.

You will collaborate with product managers and designers, implement AI-powered workflows, contribute to shared frontend tools, and continuously improve build, test, and performance while embracing emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
• Hands-on fullstack (Frontend Focused) development experience through professional work or internships.
• Good sense of UI and UX design principles.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, or a demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt new engineering tools thoughtfully.
• Experience building or integrating backend services in Go, Python, or a similar language.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, and relational database design.
• Passionate about fullstack development, innovation, and solving challenging problems.
• Willing to explore, research, and apply new technologies and tools to streamline existing processes.
• Excellent working attitude, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience in solving web performance issues and web performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own user-facing features from discovery and design through implementation, release, and iteration, contributing to APIs and services.
• Contribute across the full stack by integrating frontend with backend services, APIs, and data.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers to translate requirements into high-quality UX.
• Design, build, and integrate AI-powered workflows into products to boost productivity.
• Leverage AI-native engineering practices to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality and maintainability.
• Drive development and maintenance of shared frontend tools, libraries, and design systems.
• Improve frontend build, test, and deployment workflows for reliable features.
• Stay updated with emerging AI and software engineering technologies and best practices.
• Identify and resolve issues to enhance stability and user experience, exploring new tech and prototypes.
