Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Gen AI team and develop next-generation applications powered by advanced AI technologies. This role focuses on hands-on implementation of AI-driven applications using cutting-edge frameworks, with strong governance and regulatory alignment.

You will build production-grade web applications that leverage LLMs and agentic AI workflows, implement robust APIs, and collaborate with data scientists and MAS officers

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise-grade applications with high performance, scalability and security.
• Proficient in Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Django) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong frontend skills with React, Vue.js or Angular and responsive design.
• Hands-on RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB with ORM frameworks.
• Experience with AI frameworks (LangGraph) for agent workflows.
• Hands-on with self-hosted inference services (vLLM) for LLM interactions and parsing.
• Experience in LLM API integration and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic web applications enabling autonomous AI agents.
• Build web services and APIs for efficient search and retrieval over large data stores.
• Create intuitive UI/UX for MAS officers with dashboards and config panels.
• Optimize performance with caching, queuing, and load balancing.
• Ensure security measures including authentication, authorization and data protection, with governance and audit logging.
