Job summary

HCLTech in Singapore is seeking a skilled machine learning engineer to join an agile development team in the ML & AI field, designing and maintaining robust AI solutions within a DevOps environment.

You will collaborate with platform teams, data engineers, and data scientists to develop, deploy, and optimize ML models, including LLMs, and build multi-agent systems with function-call capabilities to solve complex enterprise challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, CS, math, stats or related field.
• Experience with Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• 3-6 years of relevant work experience in ML/data science or related field.
• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM orchestration frameworks and reasoning patterns.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Understanding of statistics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.
• Familiarity with software development practices including version control, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and optimize ML and AI solutions for business challenges.
• Build multi-agent systems with function/tool-calling capabilities.
• Design and implement RAG systems grounded in enterprise data.
• Assess and integrate AI models, including LLMs, for reliability.
• Collaborate with platform teams and data scientists to integrate solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
