Job summary

NTU’s School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences seeks a Project Officer to support AI for Science programmes. You’ll plan and coordinate research activities, manage budgets, and disseminate findings through seminars, posters and social media.

The role emphasizes stakeholder liaison with PIs, researchers and funding agencies, plus event coordination and reporting. A STEM bachelor’s is required with 2–4 years’ related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related)
• 2–4 years of project coordination, administration and research support
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong organisational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, milestones, documentation and task follow-up.
• Assist with budget tracking, reimbursement, procurement and funding compliance.
• Coordinate seminars, workshops, conferences and academic visits.
• Design academic posters, slides, infographics and publicity materials.
• Manage social media, website updates and research news communication.
• Liaise with PIs, researchers, students, funding agencies, vendors and university offices.
• Support grant reporting, meeting minutes and records management.
