Job summary

SAP Singapore is seeking an AI Engineer intern to help elevate SAP products by infusing artificial intelligence into the portfolio. You will develop and deploy models using SAP SAAS on the Business Technology Platform, delivering production-ready APIs embedded in business processes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, passion for coding, and familiarity with AI trends, MCP/A2A protocols, and LLM tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field.
• Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems.
• Proficient in understanding and staying current with AI industry trends.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or A2A (Agent-to-Agent).
• Hands-on knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Data Pipelines and coding standards for LLM App development.
• Exposure to at least one agent orchestration framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent is a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Able to solve/explore problems independently, good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents that autonomously plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks using LLMs and SAP AI capabilities.
• Validate AI use cases through PoCs, measuring accuracy, latency, cost, and safety guardrails.
• Assist with exploring new AI technologies aligned with SAP’s strategy.
• Learn and apply SDLC methodologies like Agile; participate in design, coding, testing and production release.
• Be part of a global IT delivery team.
