Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking an AI Agent Engineering Intern in Singapore to design and build interactive AI agents that connect, reason over, and act on multiple data sources. You will work with LLMs, APIs, and internal datasets to support decision-making, exploration, and automation across practical use cases.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python (required).
• Basic understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, APIs and JSON.
• Experience with agent frameworks or vector databases and data tooling.
• Experience building chatbots or conversational interfaces.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Understanding of knowledge graphs and agent planning (ReAct).
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Streamlit, React, or similar).
• Prior internship, project, or hackathon in AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype AI agents with interactive capabilities (chat, workflows, decision support).
• Integrate data sources: APIs, databases, documents, spreadsheets, dashboards.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and data connectors.
• Build agent logic for tool calling, multi-step reasoning, and context management.
• Collaborate with product, data, and business teams to translate problems into AI workflows.
• Evaluate agent performance and iterate on usability, accuracy, and reliability.
• Document architectures, prompts, and design decisions.
