Job summary

SAP is seeking an early-career AI engineer to design, build, and operate AI-native enterprise applications. You will contribute to cloud-native solutions using large language models, RAG pipelines, and agent-based components, guided by senior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work with Python in cloud-native teams, explore AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, MLOps, and API-based AI services, while collaborating with customers to solve real business problems and grow your own skills

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering fundamentals and Python proficiency.
• Hands-on with at least one cloud-native development environment.
• Familiarity with large language models, ML frameworks, and API-based AI services.
• Exposure to data pipelines and MLOps concepts within applications.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
• Interest in SAP AI technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and operation of AI-native enterprise apps.
• Develop cloud-native features integrating AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG, agents).
• Work in customer projects and cross-functional teams to understand processes.
• Implement features and integrations with quality and standards.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iteration of AI solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to grow skills.
• Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment reliability.
• Document reusable components and engineering best practices.
