Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions is seeking an AI engineer to build prototypes, design scalable system architectures with security considerations, and write production-grade code for both backend and frontend components. You will deploy to mixed environments (on-prem and cloud), integrate diverse data sources, and collaborate with GovTech and stakeholders to deliver value for the public sector.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
• Ability to design RESTful APIs with security and performance in mind
• Experience with web frameworks like FastAPI
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and on-premise infrastructure
• Experience with orchestration, monitoring, logging and LLM components (e.g., Langchain, Prefect, Prometheus)
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases (MongoDB, RDS, Elasticsearch)
• Frontend development and deployment experience (React, Jest, Tailwind CSS)
• Interest in data science and machine learning, with a public-good mindset

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes to demonstrate technology opportunities
• Design system architectures with security and infrastructure constraints
• Write production-quality code
• Utilise AI platform services (e.g., RAG pipelines) during development
• Backend and frontend development of applications
• Manage deployments to on-premise and cloud environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align inputs and deployments
• Mentor other engineers and establish best practices
