Assurity Trusted Solutions Pte Ltd, a GovTech subsidiary, is hiring an AI Engineer to build agentic AI systems for cybersecurity use cases. This role blends LLMs with solid AI/ML fundamentals, data pipelines, and safety guardrails to ship auditable services.

The position is a direct contract through 31 March 2027 with possible extension based on performance. You will design, implement, and operate end-to-end AI features with strong productionization practices and collaboration with security

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AI/ML/LLM engineering or software engineering with meaningful AI/ML contributions
• Proven delivery of at least one production AI feature, ideally an LLM/agent workflow with RAG, evaluation, and monitoring
• Clear communicator who can scope problems, write concise design proposals, and partner with PMs/security stakeholders
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10, OAuth/OIDC, data protection) and motivation to solve security problems with AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship agentic AI features for security use cases (planning/execution loops, tool use/function calling)
• Implement and harden retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
• Set up evaluation & observability for LLM/agent workflows (tracing, dashboards, evals)
• Build safety & guardrails (policies, output validation, PII redaction, jailbreak defenses)
• Apply traditional ML where appropriate and run AB tests
• Own productionization: CI/CD, containerization, scalable endpoints, vector/search infra
• Collaborate with product and security teams; write design docs; iterate quickly
