Job summary

Seagate is seeking a Servo Engineering Intern to work on cutting-edge control systems and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies into precision servo design at The Shugart site in Singapore. You will assist in designing and optimizing servo control algorithms, conducting modeling and simulations, and collaborating on research involving robotic controller design and causality-based AI systems.

The role requires pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of control theory fundamentals (classical and modern control).
• Hands-on experience in control system design projects or related research.
• Application of AI/ML techniques in control system design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and optimization of servo control algorithms for high-performance hard disk systems.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis of control systems to improve accuracy and robustness.
• Explore and implement AI/ML techniques for adaptive and predictive control strategies.
• Collaborate on research projects involving robotic controller design and causality-based AI systems.
