Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity is seeking a motivated engineer to manage and automate data protection (classification and DLP) and the workflow automation behind vulnerability and exposure management. You will link security findings into Jira workflows, ensuring owners take action and evidence auto-collects.

This hands-on role is ideal for a fresh graduate or early-career engineer, with mentoring and exposure to auditors, committees and system owners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 0 to 3 years of experience in security operations, IT or software engineering
• Proficiency in scripting and comfort with REST APIs, JSON and Git
• Strong foundation in CIA triad, vulnerability classes and CVSS concepts
• Experience with frontier AI models for code or analysis and strong output-validation habits
• Meticulous with data, processes and audit evidence
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-team coordination
• Operational mindset in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Data Protection Management: operate data classification and DLP capabilities; tune labels and policies
• Workflow & Integration Automation: design and operate Jira-based risk and remediation workflows
• AI Automation for Exposure Management: build AI-assisted tooling for CTEM and remediation dashboards
• Compliance Evidence Automation: script pipelines to collect and check control evidence for audits
• Security Requirements & Testing: translate needs into testable requirements and validate outcomes
• AI-Assisted Security Operations: validate AI outputs before action and handle data according to classification
