Job summary

Micron Technology Asia Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Fab Process & Equipment Engineer to join a team responsible for process start-up, development, optimization, yield improvement, and reliability efforts. You will apply FMEA, 8D and SPC methods to diagnose and solve sophisticated manufacturing problems, while coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments would be advantageous.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Process start-up, development, and optimization across manufacturing steps.
• Improve yield, quality, and cost, and drive productivity improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues using FMEA, SPC and related methods.
• Coordinate evaluations of new equipment and materials; liaise with suppliers.
• Implement AI-enabled enhancements and share best practices.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within scope of work.
