Job summary

VDL Enabling Technologies Group (Singapore) is seeking a technical writer to develop and maintain WI, SOPs, and engineering docs. You will translate complex technical content into clear, user-friendly documents and standards.

You will collaborate with Process & Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, and Digital teams to capture knowledge, align with BOMs and routing, and drive documentation automation using AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in technical writing, engineering documentation or manufacturing digitalization.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and engineering specs; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WI, SOPs, and engineering documentation; translate complex info clearly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to capture knowledge and standardize documents.
• Understand manufacturing processes, BOMs, routing, and TPD requirements for quality docs.
• Drive AI-assisted documentation and automation of templates and workflows.
