Job summary

AlphaSense Oy is seeking a proactive Cloud Support Engineer to own end-to-end technical problems across SaaS and private cloud environments. You’ll work with senior engineers and customer contacts, acting as the second line of defense for complex queries and contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, handling tickets with urgency, and applying AI tools to scale impact, with clear growth paths into Senior Cloud Support or SRE roles.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in technical support, IT operations, cloud operations, or related field.
• Proficient with CLI tools (kubectl, awscli) and scripting in Python, JavaScript or similar.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs and MCP-related troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with connecting LLMs to external tools, including multi-agent systems.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, FireHydrant).
• Demonstrated AI fluency in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver second-line technical support and own customer-facing tickets to resolution.
• Troubleshoot issues using logs, traces, and reproducible test cases with kubectl/awscli and scripting.
• Collaborate across regions/time zones and with R&D and account teams to build credibility.
• Contribute to runbooks, KEDB articles, and FAQs and maintain documentation hygiene.
• Use AI tools for investigations, log analysis, and customer communication.
