Job summary

Workato is seeking an Intern for Business Technology Program Management to join our growing Business Technology Team in Singapore. This role offers the chance to own a high-visibility project from day one, analyze operational data, and turn insights into scalable solutions.

You will work on data classification, trend quantification, and the development of an AI-driven live tracker, while coordinating milestones and stakeholders across teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/masters in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong interest in data, project management, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization techniques.
• Interest in AI and its practical application to real business problems.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization, and comfort handling large, varied datasets.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with team leads to explore operational data across multiple sub-teams and turn it into something usable.
• Classify and categorize data to surface patterns, and build an automated process to maintain it.
• Quantify the trends and benchmarks that address the operational questions the business is asking.
• Identify and document the underlying drivers of operational load, supported by data evidence.
• Propose solutions, including AI-driven and automation-based approaches where appropriate, and define how their success will be measured.
• Design and build a live tracker that continues to surface insights beyond the initial analysis.
• Manage the work as a program: set milestones, align stakeholders, and document your approach.
