Job summary

Blackstone’s Alternative Asset Management Technology team in Singapore invites an Analyst Intern to work alongside product and engineering teams across APAC. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, help prototype solutions, and support AI enablement, dashboards, and data workflows.

The internship offers hands-on exposure to senior investment professionals, mentoring, and a six-month program from January to June 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, with sound judgement under time pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication – ability to summarize complex information concisely.
• Works well collaboratively, across teams and across time zones.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Work effectively as an individual contributor, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Curiosity about how technology changes the way businesses operate, and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Experience applying AI tools or concepts, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
• Knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
• Experience building dashboards or visualizations.
• Familiarity with agile delivery concepts such as user stories and sprints.
• Prior internship experience in financial services, consulting, or technology.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with real estate, private equity and investor relations teams across APAC to understand how they operate and where technology can help.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories, and partner with engineering to prototype and build products and solutions for our stakeholders.
• Support AI enablement across the region - from training to prototyping agent-based workflows.
• Utilize available technology tools within Blackstone to design and implement technology solutions for business stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between global technology teams and APAC business stakeholders, helping to identify local needs, inform regional priorities, and contribute to roadmap planning and project execution.
