Job summary

CapitaLand Group is hiring a Digital & AI Intern to turn business needs into working software, analytics, automation and AI-enabled products. You’ll contribute code, test ideas with users, and move prototypes toward secure, maintainable deployment in a real estate environment.

You’ll gain practical exposure to enterprise platforms, data integration and governance, with work spanning dashboards, APIs and automation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Information Systems or a related discipline
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, gained through coursework, personal projects, internships, competitions or work experience
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, debugging, testing and documentation
• Experience or exposure to data analytics, machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, automation or web app development
• Curious, structured problem-solver who can learn quickly and work with stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration

Responsibilities

• Build and improve working AI and digital products to address business needs
• Write maintainable code in Python and, where relevant, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL or low-code tools
• Develop AI capabilities such as retrieval-augmented generation and prompt workflows under guidance
• Explore and analyse data to support model development and evaluation
• Support end-to-end delivery from requirements through deployment and iteration
• Work with enterprise data and APIs to connect data sources and workflows
• Build dashboards and automation using Power BI, Power Platform and Azure
• Improve solution performance through monitoring, logging and cost considerations
• Apply engineering practices: version control, CI/CD and documentation
• Governance: ensure secure development, data classification, privacy and access controls
