Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Data Scientist (convertible to perm) for AI projects in the Central area with Marina One as the office location. The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery leadership, stakeholder engagement, and translating business needs into actionable AI/ML solutions.

You will collaborate with technical leads, data scientists, and engineers to ensure feasible, business-aligned outcomes and drive projects from planning to production release.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• 3+ years of progressive experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager, Technical Product Owner, or similar delivery role supporting AI, data science, or data-driven products.
• Proven track record of managing the full AI or data science project lifecycle—from ideation to deployment and handover.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum, tailored to AI/ML delivery.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms and AI infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills bridging business and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand pain points, objectives, and success criteria.
• Translate high-level business challenges into well-defined project scopes, deliverables, and milestones.
• Lead end-to-end Data Science and AI projects, owning planning, progress tracking, and delivery.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methods to AI/ML delivery and guide deployment to production.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate formal handovers to BAU or support teams after release.
