Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Project Manager for the Eco Governance team within the ADSO group to lead end-to-end AI data annotation projects, focusing on safety-related labeling and operational efficiency. You will develop implementation plans, monitor performance dashboards, coordinate with QA, vendors, and cross-functional partners, and drive continuous improvement to meet targets and timelines.

This role requires Mandarin and English proficiency and a track record of global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5 years of project/program management experience in AI data annotation environments, large-scale data operations, content moderation, or related fields.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English is required; Mandarin is essential for Mandarin-language content.
• Track record of driving successful project execution with cross-functional teams and third-party vendor partners.
• Strong data skills (Excel, SQL, dashboard development) and data-driven performance analysis.
• Experience in driving continuous operational quality optimization and process improvement.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects/work streams with prioritization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across regional/global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data annotation projects: manage end-to-end execution of multiple projects, meeting performance targets and SLAs.
• Serve as primary stakeholder interface for internal requestors: translate product needs into labeling project requirements, align on targets, support workforce planning, develop delivery plans.
• Drive delivery governance and cross-functional collaboration: establish operating rhythms, reviews, and escalation frameworks across QA, vendor, and business teams.
• Leverage data to manage performance: monitor dashboards, detect anomalies, perform root-cause analysis to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts: identify process gaps, design workflow optimisations, partner with tooling teams to drive automation.
• Risk and change management: identify delivery risks, propose mitigations, lead through transitions.
• Deliver strategic reporting: synthesize project data into insights and leadership recommendations.
