AI & Analytics Data Scientist — Lead AI-powered Insights

Job summary

Singtel, a leading telco, invites a Data Scientist in the AI & Data Analytics (AIDA) unit to drive insights and develop AI/ML models that respond to market changes and growth opportunities.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Network, Enterprise, Sales, and Product to design end-to-end predictive solutions, ensure governance, and scale AI-driven insights that optimize customer journeys and revenue streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in data science or analytics.
• Proficiency in ML and statistical modelling, including time series, supervised learning, and clustering.
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI, including prompt engineering and evaluation.
• Strong SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive, and Databricks for data manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization (Power BI) and communication of insights.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, Airflow).

Responsibilities

• Lead data science initiatives, defining problem statements and architecting end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
• Develop, productionize, and governance of analytical models within customer journeys.
• Analyze customer behavior across Singtel's services to inform segmentation and engagement strategies.
• Design robust experiments (A/B tests, uplift modeling) to optimize campaigns.
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote code quality through reviews.
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
