Job summary

Infineon Technologies invites students to contribute to the System on Product and Test Engineering (PTE) team. You’ll work on TriCore-based AurixRC1 and PSOC, developing MCP servers, enhancing RAG pipelines, and automating test workflows.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in agentic AI, RAG/LLM development, and semiconductor test engineering, while applying software engineering best practices and REST integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• Proficient in Python handling REST/requests, Pydantic, and virtual environments.
• Familiar with LLMs, RAG, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Comfortable with Git and reading/consuming REST APIs.
• Nice to Have: Exposure to ChromaDB/vector databases, Streamlit, Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend Python-based MCP servers that integrate REST APIs of internal engineering tools.
• Build and improve the RAG pipeline (document ingestion, vector store, retrieval).
• Contribute to the agent orchestration layer that automates test requirement-to-code workflow.
• Write clean, tested Python code and document work in Git.
• Validate agent outputs against real test-engineering use cases and iterate on tooling.
