The student, as part of the PTE PDE team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will undertake AI-driven projects working on various work packages to streamline operations, enhance productivity and improve process efficiency.
Your Role
Key responsibilities
- Operations & Automation Support: Assist unit process engineers in daily Final Test operations and automated manufacturing projects.
- Risk & Incident Management: Support deviation management, crisis resolution, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.
- Change Management: Assist in coordinating and executing engineering change management projects.
- Quality & Process Documentation: Develop and update critical engineering documentation, including Process Flows, FMEA, SOPs, OCAPs, and Control Plans.
Internship Learning Outcomes
- Backend Test Operations: Gain deep insights into the daily operational workflows within a Semiconductor Backend Test facility.
- Statistical Quality Control: Understand the application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and structured deviation management in manufacturing.
- Production Data Analytics: Learn how to analyze large production datasets and represent engineering data statistically to drive decision-making.
- Advanced Manufacturing Automation: Acquire hands-on exposure to deploying automation solutions within an industry-leading smart factory.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills
- Educational Foundation: On track to attain a Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: A self-driven individual possessing strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Highly interpersonal, with a passion for working with cross-functional teams and coordinating project tasks.
- Technical Tools Advantage: Prior exposure to Tableau, UiPath, or Python is a strong plus.
