To support the Branch in complying in Customs and any othergovernment agencies’ regulations
- Minimum tertiary education with 3 to 5 years’ relevant air freightoperations experience.
- Good working knowledge in computer software applications including email, Microsoft Excel and Words
- Good interpersonal, communication in both spoken and written, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Singapore Customs local rules and regulations and must complete Singapore Customs test
- Knowledge of related Competent Authorities regulations
- Knowledge of using SIN Customs TradeNet system and our systems for Customs in order to be able to declare with accuracy in customs entry declarations
- Able to declare all different customs entry declarations /permit types
Key Accountabilities
- Declare all different types of shipping permits.
- Applying Ordinary and Preferential Certification of Origin.
- Coordinate with the respective departments on supportingdocuments required. Ensuring all documents are in accordanceand timeline to provide approved customs entry declarationswith help of pre-customs entry, checklist, Asia Customs Standard operating proceduresand pre-alert database.
- Attend to customs enquiries and secure the permit approval.
- To monitor and ensure all Cargo Manifest Declarations reportsare submitted timely to Singapore Customs for both Importand Export permits transactions.
- Creating file and preparing billing invoice. To ensure dataaccurate and timely billing to customers.
- Generating essential customers’ or others reports as required.
- Updating Asia Customs SOP with customers’ requirements andexpectations.
- Adhering compliance to Expeditors policy and expectations.
- Maintain Branch procedure on customs entry declarations.
- Key Performance Indicators are met within customers’requirements and fulfillment Singapore Customs / CompetentAuthorities rules and regulations.
- Performing internal audit for customs filling.

Shift Schedule:
- 8:30 - 18:00 hrs
- 12:00 - 21:30 hrs
- 14:00 - 23:30 hrs
