Job summary

OCBC Bank invites applications for an Affluent Team Manager to lead and develop a team of Affluent Relationship Managers and grow the International Wealth Affluent business.

You will drive performance, coach your team on financial planning and wealth management, ensure needs-based engagement, and uphold FA Act, Fair Dealing and regulatory standards. In this role you will hire, mentor and guide ARMs, delivering compliant customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with at least 6 years in banking/financial services, with track record in financial product sales or business management.
• Prior team leadership or coaching/mentoring experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, wealth management products and banking operations.
• Leadership and people management skills to relate to all staff levels and develop high-performing ARMs.
• Initiative, drive and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, skilling and coaching a team of Affluent Relationship Managers (ARMs) to actively drive customer engagement activities focusing on financial planning.
• Ensure overall sales, upfund and upgrade targets are met.
• Ensure needs-based approach, comply with FA Act, Fair Dealing and adhere to internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Act as a single point of accountability, responsible for the overall business performance, growth and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all bank's compliance standards.
• Implement service initiatives and ensure consistency of service quality and delivery.
