Job summary
Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd seeks a Specialist, Engineering – Welding to own welding processes and drive continuous improvement in a Rolls-Royce/NADCAP environment. You will lead process development, validation, and audits, working across Engineering, Production, Quality and EMS to ensure safe, high-quality aerospace manufacturing.
The role requires a strong background in welding standards, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in industrial welding, aerospace preferred.
- Solid knowledge of welding processes and standards (NADCAP/AWS D17.1).
- Experience with NADCAP compliance and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME and engineering authority for welding processes.
- Develop and approve welding parameters, standards, and methods.
- Ensure weld repair validations meet NADCAP, Rolls-Royce, AWS D17.1.
- Maintain welder qualifications in accordance with AWS D17.1.
- Lead process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support audit preparation and closure of findings.
- Drive zero-defect culture and Right First Time manufacturing.
