Job summary

AVIATION LABOUR GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an Aerospace Production Planner in Singapore on a 1-year contract to support production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.

The role involves planning, scheduling, and expediting shop-floor activities, analysing material flow, and managing WIP to meet delivery targets. Strong SAP and MS Office skills, plus 3+ years in production planning, are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, production, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning and control.
• Experience in production scheduling, shop-floor planning, or manufacturing planning.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and expedite shop-floor activities to meet production schedules and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Analyse material flow and utilise production scheduling techniques to manage cell planning and production schedules.
• Monitor and manage production input/output and WIP to maintain optimum inventory levels and minimise delays.
• Review production performance to identify trends, gaps, and improvement actions.
• Support material planning activities to achieve delivery and inventory targets.
• Provide support in resolving material-related issues arising from engineering changes and new product start-up.
• Analyse demand fluctuations, workload changes, and capacity requirements to support effective production planning.
• Coordinate with production, material planning, engineering, and other departments to resolve planning, scheduling, material, and shipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate planning information and updates within SAP and other relevant systems.
• Apply standard operational practices in planning activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement to improve production efficiency and delivery.
• Liaise with internal and external customers as required.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members.
