Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Singapore is looking for an MRO Technician (Certifying Staff) to perform hands-on maintenance, inspection, and testing of APU components and engine core, certifying work within the approved scope.

You will gain practical experience reading engineering drawings and repair manuals, performing in-process and final inspections, and documenting non-conformities while adhering to regulatory and quality requirements in a rotating shift role at Gul Circle.

Qualifications

• Must have at least NTC Aerospace Technology/Engineering certificate or higher.
• Must have 2-5 years inspector experience in Aerospace Industry.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair documentation in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently after training.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of APU components in accordance with approved technical data.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, repair standards, and procedures.
• Certify completed APU repair and maintenance work within the authorized scope.
• Verify component conformity with tolerances, limitations, and manufacturer requirements.
• Review repair and inspection records for accuracy, completeness, and traceability prior to certification.
• Identify and document non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are completed before release.
• Perform SAP transactions and update work orders as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, HSE, and organizational requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
