Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced mechanical/aerospace engineer to drive MRO 3D printing initiatives, automation projects, and digital transformation within the shopfloor. You will design, prototype, and implement tooling and processes to enhance airworthiness and repair turnaround times.

Candidates should have a strong background in CATIA V5, Python or similar programming, and relevant Industry 4.0 experience, with excellent communication and teamwork skills to operate across engineering,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Bachelor/Master).
• 3–7 years of relevant experience is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
• Experience with Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing or digitalization is a plus.
• Programming skills in Python or similar; CATIA V5 and analysis tools beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on workscope management and repair dispositions.
• Support 3D printing activities for MRO, including design and validation.
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and fixtures for repair processes and automation.
• Coordinate with design, stress, tooling, and quality teams to integrate 3D printed solutions.
• Deliver training and share best practices across teams.
