Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace division seeks an aviation engineer to support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components. You will lead fault isolation and root cause analysis, and collaborate with test equipment OEMs to address failures promptly.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree (or be pursuing one) with 2 years of relevant aviation experience, strong drawings/schematics knowledge and the ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
• 2 years' relevant engineering experience in the Aviation industry preferred.
• Candidates pursuing degrees may apply.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience with test equipment troubleshooting/maintenance advantageous.
• Flexible and able to adapt to multicultural, fast-changing environment.
• Ability to work independently across multiple time zones.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support MRO production, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft components and systems.
• Lead in investigation, fault isolation and root cause analysis of defects.
• Collaborate with test equipment OEMs to address failures promptly.
• Coordinate with OEM on technical matters.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency.
• Support New Production Introduction.
• Provide technical assistance for testing equipment upkeep.
• Work with stakeholders to meet Value Stream objectives.
• Perform other duties as required by business.
• Comply with US and Singapore Export Control Regulations.
