Job summary

ALG is hiring a Maintenance & Equipment Engineer for our client in Bedok, Singapore. This long-term contract role (1 year + potential FTE) involves maintaining and improving facility and production equipment.

You will respond to breakdowns, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with OEMs and suppliers. CMMS records and continuous improvement initiatives are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS; exposure to industrial automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication and customer-facing ability.
• A team player who is adaptable and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair site facility and production machines, instruments, and equipment to keep them in good working condition.
• Respond to breakdowns, malfunctions, and emergencies to minimize disruption to production.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facility and production equipment.
• Support EHS compliance, including safety procedures, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with OEMs, machine agents, contractors, and suppliers on repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Install and commission new facility and production equipment.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and support continuous improvement (CORE/TPM) initiatives.
