Job summary

ALG is seeking a Maintenance & Equipment Engineer for a client in Bedok, Singapore. This long-term contract role (1 year + high likelihood of FTE conversion) supports a global aerospace company with multiple facilities in Singapore.

You will maintain and repair facility and production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with EHS and regulatory requirements. Strong problem-solving and effective communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2 years, or Diploma with 5 years, of relevant experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS; exposure to industrial automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good communication and customer-facing ability.
• A team player who is adaptable and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair site facility and production machines, instruments, and equipment to keep them in good working condition
• Respond to breakdowns, malfunctions, and emergencies to minimize disruption to production
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for facility and production equipment
• Support EHS compliance, including safety procedures, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with OEMs, machine agents, contractors, and suppliers on repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance
• Install and commission new facility and production equipment
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and support continuous improvement (CORE/TPM) initiatives
