Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an organized Facilities Engineer to manage uptime, maintenance, and safety of our MRO facility. You will maintain critical workshop infrastructure while supporting a strong safety culture by handling light Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) duties and ensuring compliance with aviation facility standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 2–4 years of facilities engineering experience.
• Practical knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and risk assessments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand hangar/workshop utilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of MRO infrastructure (HVAC, compressed air, power distribution, cranes).
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Supervise external contractors during installations and upgrades.
• Monitor utilities and energy consumption for cost savings and efficiency.
• Lead minor to mid-sized facility upgrades from conception to handover.
• Draft specifications for tenders and oversee on-site execution.
• Assist budgeting for OPEX and CAPEX and track variances.
• Coordinate with WSH team to ensure safety compliance and PTW processes.
