Job summary

Aurora Asia (21C0671) is seeking a CNC VTL Machinist in East Singapore to manufacture precision aerospace components. You will operate and set up CNC VTL machinery, read technical drawings, and ensure strict quality. Strong measuring skills and familiarity with CNC parameters are essential.

Minimum 2–3 years of CNC experience in precision engineering or aerospace context is preferred. Willingness to work in East Singapore and adherence to safety and documentation standards are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC VTL/CNC turning experience.
• Experience in precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Familiar with CNC setup, tooling and cutting parameters.
• Able to use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.
• Willing to work in East Singapore.
• CNC turning/VTL experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines to manufacture precision components.
• Set up and operate CNC VTL machines according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and machining specifications.
• Perform machine setup, tool setting, and workpiece alignment.
• Monitor machining processes and adjust to ensure product quality.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues.
• Ensure all finished components meet aerospace standards.
• Maintain workplace housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
• Complete production records and documentation.
