Job summary

Income Insurance Limited is seeking an aspiring actuarial professional to support life insurance reporting, valuation and pricing activities. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze data, and apply design-thinking and agile approaches to drive project outcomes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication and teamwork in a dynamic insurance environment. Prior internship experience is welcomed for fresh graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with good progress in actuarial credentials (e.g. ASA, AIA, AFA) from a recognized international actuarial body
• At least 1 year of working experience in life insurance (reporting, valuation or pricing) or relevant internship
• Ability in critical thinking, problem solving and decision making
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
• Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Adaptable to dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and programming knowledge will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Support other team deliveries including User Acceptance Testing, business management reports, experience and profit monitoring and reinsurance tender
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting filings
• Collaborate and support business stakeholders to gather insights for purpose of delivering project assigned, using external and internal data sources
• Adopt design-thinking and agile framework in delivering project
• Ensure deliveries follow the department's best practice on risk and compliance
