Job summary

Shopee SBS in Singapore is seeking a proactive Business Development-oriented intern/full-time analyst for 3–6 months. You will identify white-space categories or brands not yet on the platform, build a pipeline of prospective suppliers, and negotiate terms to improve assortment and terms.

You will coordinate onboarding, including legal documents, account setup, and SKU listings, while collaborating with team managers to define and execute growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and data handling.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable with outreach to external parties.

Job Description

• Identify white-space categories or brands not currently on platform
• Build pipeline of prospective suppliers and conduct business development pitches
• Evaluate assortment and negotiate with suppliers for better commercial terms
• Manage onboarding - including legal documentation, account setup, and SKU listing creations
• Work with team managers to define, implement and execute growth strategy

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Organised and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
• Comfortable with outreach and engaging with external parties
• Full-time for 3 to 6 months (preferred), open to part-time
