Qualifications

• Assist in tender documentation and ensure compliance with tender specs.
• Quantify quantities from tender documents and drawings for accurate variation claims.
• Coordinate with Main Contractor QS, suppliers, and contractors.
• Take-off quantities for cost estimation and contract bidding.
• Verify measurements with clients and resolve discrepancies in scope.
• Assist in monthly progress claims and subcontractor payments to maintain cash flow.
• Prepare procurement documentation from shortlisting to awarding contracts.
• Support project documentation with simple drafting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in preparing tender documentation by understanding and applying tender specifications to support successful bids
• Quantify Bill of Quantities (BQ) from tender documents and construction drawings to enable accurate variation claims
• Liaise effectively with Main Contractor Quantity Surveyors, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate tender and project requirements
• Take off quantities and participate in private and public project tenders to support cost estimation and contract bidding
• Verify measurements with clients to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in project scope
• Assess and submit monthly progress claims and recommend subcontractors’ monthly progress payments to maintain cash flow
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations under main and subcontract works to ensure compliance
• Prepare necessary documentation from shortlisting to awarding contracts to facilitate smooth procurement processes
• Perform simple drafting tasks to support project documentation and communication
• Experience working with ACMV systems to support related project requirements
