Job summary

YINSHENG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced site supervisor to oversee ACMV projects in Singapore. You will supervise a group of site staff and engineers, plan daily work, organise project schedules, and report progress to management.

You will ensure safety, control multiple projects, review design submissions, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and strive for excellent customer service while adhering to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years Singapore-based ACMV experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of site staff and engineers; plan daily work and organise project schedules.
• Prepare project milestone reports; assist with tender site rounds and contract management.
• Ensure effective project management for design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure installation work is completed within allocated time and safety standards are met.
• Perform safety supervision and implement safety requirements at work sites.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Review contractor redesigns and update as-built drawings; attend site meetings/inspections.
• Make judgment calls based on industry experience while delivering quality customer service.

Summary

Full contract responsibility for monitoring and guiding the team. End-to-end reporting to management for the project progress to the Executive Director.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise a group of site staff, engineers. Plan and organise daily work, execution of projects, prepare project schedule, milestone reports, submission and manpower planning
• Participate in the preparation of technical specifications, design requirements, and conduct tender site show round for project works and contract management
• Ensure effective project management on the implementation of design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure all Installation engineers, workers / subcontractors work is completed in the allocated time
• Ensure safety in the workplace through close supervision and implementation of all safety requirements
• Perform investigation of accident/incident report, including recommendation of preventive or improvement measures to mitigate recurrence
• Review of contractor’s redesign submission, update of as-built drawing, attendance to site meeting/inspection
• Have the ability to make judgment calls/decisions based on experience within the industry.
• Ensure that all work is carried out to the current standards & deliver excellent customer service
• Liaise with office staff to assist in resolving of queries, customers, subcontractors & suppliers
• Provide suggestions for the improvement of practices within the Company
