Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end ACMV-focused projects in Singapore. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to meet time, cost and quality requirements, while ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, 5–10 years of ACMV experience, relevant safety certs, and strong English/Mandarin communication. PMP/Lean Sigma certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10 years ACMV experience in a local construction environment.
• Construction safety certs (CSCPM, etc).
• Experience with General Building Works is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills (English and Mandarin).
• Strong stakeholder management with various business associates.
• Good understanding of M&E code of practice.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end implementation and completion of construction projects within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with client representatives and consultants to ensure project alignment with contract terms.
• Provide professional advice and technical solutions to clients and consultants as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards and governing codes.
• Review construction drawings and coordinate with consultants/sub-contractors to resolve site issues.
• Monitor site activities with sub-contractors, supervisors and workers.
• Take ownership and be able to work under tight schedules.

Job description

• Responsible for the overall implement and completion of construction projects within scheduled time, cost and meet client quality requirement & contractual terms;
• Liaise and communicate effectively with client/representative and consultants;
• Provide professional advice/technical solutions to client and consultants when required;
• Ensure compliance to safety & health standards, quality standards and relevant governing codes;
• Study of Construction drawings details and coordinate with the consultants and sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues;
• Monitor and coordinate the site activities involving the sub-contractors, supervisors and site workers;
• Other ad-hoc assignments.

Qualification / Experience

• Candidate must possess a well recognised Honours Degree inMechanical Engineering/Construction Management
• Must possess at least 5-10 years of ACMV experience in a local construction environment
• Possess the necessary construction safety certs (CSCPM, etc)
• Preferably experience in General Building Works will be an added advantage
• With analytical mindset and innovative problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills (English and Mandarin) - to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
• Strong stakeholder management skills in the interactions with various business associates
• Good understanding of code of practice of M&E
• Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
• Independent, self-starter and able to work under tight schedule
• Strong organisational skills
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Sigma will be an added advantage
