Job summary

PS M&E ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, install, test, commission, and maintain ACMV electrical systems across project sites.

You will prepare electrical drawings, coordinate with M&E disciplines, supervise installation, perform inspections and commissioning, and ensure compliance with safety and Singapore regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of ACMV/M&E project experience preferred.
• Able to read electrical/ACMV drawings and technical specs.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, test, commission, and maintain ACMV electrical systems on projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schedules, and connection details.
• Coordinate ACMV electrical works with M&E disciplines and site teams.
• Supervise electrical installation works to ensure fidelity to drawings and specs.
• Carry out inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ACMV electrical systems.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely project completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers on technical matters.
• Check materials/equipment for compliance with specs.
• Prepare method statements, inspection checklists, and testing reports.
• Ensure works comply with Singapore electrical, safety, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to ACMV systems.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support.

• 1.Design, install, test, commission, and maintain ACMV (Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) electrical systems.
• 2.Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment connection details.
• 3.Coordinate ACMV electrical works with mechanical, architectural, and other M&E services.
• 4.Supervise ACMV electrical installation works at project sites and ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications.
• 5.Carry out inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ACMV electrical systems.
• 6.Monitor site progress and ensure projects are completed within the required schedule.
• 7.Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams on technical matters.
• 8.Check materials and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in ACMV/M&E projects is preferred.
• Experience in ACMV electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, pumps, fans, AHUs, FCUs, and related ACMV equipment.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, ACMV drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Singapore safety requirements and M&E practices.
• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site activities.
• Willing to work at construction/project sites when required.
• Singapore driving licence is an advantage.
