Job summary

KBE Air-Conditioning & Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer with 3–5 years in ACMV projects to lead installation, commissioning, and site supervision for residential and commercial buildings. You will design M&E/air-conditioning works, attend site meetings, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires strong planning, problem-solving, and drafting skills, with knowledge of BMS and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with BCMS/Electrical experience.
• AutoCAD/drafting experience is advantageous.
• 3-5 years in project management or related field.
• Good knowledge of Building M&E services and ACMV systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting new customers and proposing a solution to their requirements.
• Plan monitoring of project schedules and resources.
• Coordinate to ensure projects run smoothly and act as a contact with clients, consultants, architects and sub-contractors.
• Prepare and submit technical shop drawings for approval.
• Project management and site supervision of installation and commissioning of ACMV systems at residential and commercial buildings.
• Design M&E and air-conditioning works.
• Attend site meetings and site inspections with sub-contractors and consultants.
• Modify M&E drawings according to site conditions.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of ACMV systems.
• Manage supervisors and workers to complete within limited time.
• Prepare monthly project progress claims/reports.
• Estimating and predicting the cost of tenders.
• Possess knowledge in Building M&E services (BMS) with project site experience in ACMV/Fire Protection & Electrical Systems.

• Good knowledge in Building M&E services(BMS), with project site experience in ACMV / Fire Protection & Electrical Systems for M&E specifications, installation and maintenance
• Good problem solving skills and ability to learn and interpret contract requirements quickly
• Working experience / knowledge in Electrical and Building Control Management System
  Minimum 1 - 2 years working experience in ACMV systems.
  To carry out maintenance of air-cond works, troubleshooting electrical systems
  Possess good communications skills.
