Job summary

PERMANENT PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a Project Manager for our electrical/MEP projects in Singapore. You will lead the project team, monitor progress, manage costs, and coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, has hands-on experience with MS Office and Microsoft Project, and can lead a team under pressure while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in related field preferred.
• Good professionalism and integrity.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing.
• Ability to lead a team and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to monitor progression within costing.
• Supervise subcontractors on progress per drawings and method statements.
• Liaise with authorities, subcontractors or clients on drawings/materials.
• Review electrical drawings for compliance.
• Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions.
• Manage and execute project to meet deadlines.
• Attend contractor meetings to address issues and update progress.
• Study drawings/specifications for compliance.
• Allocate work to technicians and ensure standards are met.

Job Description

• Lead the Project Team as a Project Manager to monitor and manage the project progression and work within the costing.
• To monitor and supervise sub contractors’ work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, material and samples
• To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors or clients on shop drawings, materials and samples
• Review and align Electrical design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines
• Knowledge in M&E and able to Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions
• Manage and execute project as per the deadline
• To attend meeting with contractors to address issues and update progress
• Study and reviewing of drawings, specifications for compliance
• Allocate work to technicians and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
• Working experience in the related field is preferred.
• Good working attitude with high level of professionalism and integrity
• Proficient in MS office and Microsoft Project
• Able to communicate and write
• Capable of leading a team and work under stress
• Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications
