Job summary

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and 2–5 years of accounting experience, with familiarity in Oracle NetSuite being a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years accounting experience.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
• Good knowledge of GST requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, testing, and implementation of the new accounting system and provide user support and training for staff.
• Prepare and communicate system-related information, process updates, and user guidelines for smooth adoption.
• Assist in customizing financial reports to meet Japan Head Office reporting formats and GST/income tax reporting requirements.
• Support finance system enhancements including banking integrations and InvoiceNow initiatives.
• Liaise with vendors and IT to resolve system issues and escalate as needed.
• Verify and process supplier and subcontractor invoices; ensure payments align with timelines.
• Review petty cash, staff reimbursements, and related schedules; ensure proper recording.
