Job summary

COMPANY NAME: COMPLETE EVALUATION PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations in Singapore. You will maintain accurate financial records, process invoices and payments, and assist with reconciliations and month-end closing.

You will prepare customer invoices and statements, record payments, verify supplier invoices, and help with GST preparation and audits. The role requires 1–2 years of accounting exposure, Excel proficiency, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Diploma in Accounting or related field with relevant coursework.
• 1–2 years accounting experience preferred; candidates with qualifications are welcome.
• Understanding of bookkeeping, AP/AR and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes and statements of account.
• Record incoming payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Verify supplier invoices against supporting documents and prepare payments for approval.
• Process staff expense claims and petty cash transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements, daily collections and relevant ledger accounts.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist with journal entries, month-end closing and financial schedules.
• Compile GST-related documents for audits and compliance.
• Maintain organised accounting records and ensure proper approvals.
• Support other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
