Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Receivable support trainee for the Japanese market. You will process AR transactions, reconcile customer accounts, and monitor invoices while working with Japanese-speaking customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred
• Japanese language proficiency to support daily communication with customers and stakeholders in Japan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in accounts receivable and finance processes

• Process daily accounts receivable transactions accurately to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Reconcile customer accounts and allocate payments to ensure correct account balances
• Monitor outstanding invoices and initiate timely payment follow-ups to improve cash flow
• Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking customers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment queries
• Maintain organized and accurate AR documentation to support audit and reporting requirements
• Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing AR reports and verifying data accuracy
• Collaborate with the finance team to support additional finance and administrative tasks as needed
• Demonstrate attention to detail and apply numerical skills to manage financial data using Microsoft Excel
