Job summary

Income in Singapore seeks an Accounts Payable/Finance Operations professional to manage vendor invoices, staff expense reimbursements and assist month-end close. You will maintain vendor master data, liaise with stakeholders, and support accruals, prepayments and financial reporting processes.

The role requires 2–3 years in AP/finance operations, strong Excel and ERP system experience, and the ability to work independently to meet tight month-end deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• 2–3 years Accounts Payable/Finance Operations experience
• Experience with monthly closing activities including accruals and prepayments
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices accurately and within deadlines
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is an advantage
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Good time management
• Responsible and proactive in resolving issues; able to work under tight month-end timelines

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and staff expense reimbursements per policies.
• Verify supporting documents and ensure completeness of invoice submissions.
• Create, maintain and update vendor master records.
• Process a high volume of invoices within established service standards and timelines.
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.
• Support staff reimbursement claim processing and monthly validation checks.
• Conduct bi-monthly audit reviews on staff claims to identify exceptions and control gaps.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare recurring monthly accrual entries and reconcile accrual balances.
• Monitor recurring prepayments and prepare monthly amortization entries.
