Job summary

Aceto Pte Ltd is urgently hiring an Accounts Officer in Singapore to support timely financial reporting for the CFO. The role focuses on maintaining full sets of accounts in Sage ERP, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate postings to GL and subsidiary ledgers.

The candidate should have accounting qualifications, at least three years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills to handle costings, journals, and monthly statements. Singaporean or PR preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level / Accounting Diploma – Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum three years working experience in keeping full sets of accounts.
• Well versed in accounting principles and book-keeping entries.
• Open for Singaporean and Permanent Residents only to apply.

Responsibilities

• To ensure timely preparation of accounts for the CFO to report to HQ.
• Highlight discrepancies to the CFO during preparation or other matters needing CFO attention.
• Assist the CFO in tasks related to accounting or admin while maintaining confidentiality.
• Prepare online payments to suppliers and stamp invoices PAID after payments.
• Record all customer payments in Cash Book/GL and match with sales invoices.
• Generate periodic reports and statistics for CFO review from Sage ERP.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
