Job summary

Benking Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Accounts cum Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support month-end closing and GST reporting. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will handle full sets of accounts or assigned functions and assist with year-end audits as needed.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills with familiarity in AutoCount, MYOB, QuickBooks or Xero.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts or GL, AP/AR.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST and FRFS.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and common accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and receivable including vendor payments and invoicing.
• Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries; perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing and preparation of schedules (prepayments, accruals, inventory).
• Prepare GST workings and assist with tax schedules and GST F5 returns.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and banking transactions per procedures.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and corporate secretarial providers on year-end matters.
