Job summary

ARC MARINE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Accountant to maintain books, process payments, and prepare monthly reports. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to GST guidelines.

You will register invoices, perform bank reconciliations, cost calculations, and generate management reports. Candidates should have a Diploma/Certificate in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in English and common accounting software, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore GST.
• Proficiency in accounting software workflows, Word and Excel.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Register sales, purchase invoices and credit notes in accounting software.
• Monitor and maintain books of accounts in an orderly manner.
• Arrange supplier payments.
• Prepare and send statements of account for outstanding invoices.
• Process job costing and calculate overtime.
• Prepare and submit monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Generate monthly management reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Monitor & Maintain books of accounts of the company in an orderly manner.
• Arrange for supplier's payments
• Prepare & send statement of account for outstanding invoices to customers
• Process job costing
• Calculation of Workers Overtime
• To prepare & submit monthly bank reconciliation statement
• Monthly reports for management reporting
• Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor on time to time basis
• Min relevant Diploma or Certificate in Accounting
• Good analytical & numerical abilities
• Good knowledge of Singapore GST
• Good knowledge of accounting software's work flow, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Min 3 years relevant experience as an Accountant
