Job Summary

Manage comprehensive accounting functions including GST filing, payroll preparation, accounts payable/receivable, cash forecasting, and daily bank balance reporting to support financial decision‑making and ensure timely payments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records to support financial integrity
• File Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare payroll accurately to ensure timely employee compensation
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow
• Develop cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting
• Report daily bank balances and update the Director on monthly expenses and payment schedules
• Work independently or with minimal supervision to meet accounting deadlines and support management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a construction company environment
